3D Floor plans are integral part of AEC industry!

3D floor plans are very important to AEC professionals especially while constructing a building. These plans are created by architects with the assistance of rest of the engineers such as MEP engineers because they also help in describing the placement of MEP components in a floor.  3D floor plans helps in providing a three dimensional view of a building floor and that remains the major strength of these plans. 3D view provides more clarity regarding the design, when it comes to visual effects to the building.

3D floor plans are created by architects for showing the placements of different architectural elements or components of a particular floor. When it comes to describing the design of a floor, floor plans assist in showing the placement of different rooms, staris, doors, and windows etc. In other words with the assistance of 3D floor plans AEC professionals can get a clear picture regarding the location of various rooms and entry and exit points such as doors and stairs etc.

3D floor plans are highly effective when compared to 2D floor plans. 2D floor plans can only be understood by architects and engineers as they  includes a lot of architectural and engineering symbols for representing different building elements such as doors and windows etc. However 3D floor plans are much easier to understand as they clearly show everything instead of using signs and symbols. In other words no architectural and engineering signs and symbols are used in these plans for describing building elements instead all the necessary building elements are actually included in these plans. Such as instead of showing a window with the assistance of a symbol, actual windows are added in them. And this makes them visually very attractive.

Roof or ceiling is never contained in floor plans. In other words since the interior design of a building is shown in them with a top view, ceiling is always removed from them.

Last but not least 3D floor plan services are very important or integral part of AEC industry when it comes to describing interior design of a building floor to the clients.
